The compact JetBox 5430-w is an embedded Linux system for providing easy network system maintenance and fast remote access in front-end industrial network control applications. In addition, Linux SDK – a quick time-to-market tool, is provided for users to develop programmable front-end controller applications in industrial networks.
The JetBox 5430-w is designed to provide advanced network performance in front-end industrial router control applications. Featuring VPN functionality, it can be perfectly used by IPC providers for establishing long-distance and secure network connections over WAN.
JetBox 5430-w has 4 RJ45 Ethernet ports for allowing IPC to function as an Industrial Ethernet Switch and provide system uplink redundancy without requiring extra Ethernet devices and, as a result, saving installation costs. For full switch management it also provides QoS and port-based VLAN, which assures high quality data transmission in the industrial network. To expand the embedded system, administrators can use the USB port with wireless and cellular network connectivity.
The IPv6 silver-marked JetBox 5430-w router computer acts as an outstanding network gateway to connect different network groups while providing efficient and reliable data transmission through its flexible interface of LAN, WAN and USB ports. Moreover, with Linux SDK and Linux auto-run function via USB port, it becomes an excellent embedded solution for developing programmable customized applications while ensuring the reliable data transmission in harsh industrial environments.
