Hmmm . . . my first-ever blog entry . . . where to begin . . .

I guess I'll just tell you about Nature Dome Mammals, my first game release . . . it's an educational dueling card game for kids ages 5-12, in which players summon the powers of animals to attack, defend and escape. As hits are scored, players' energy is reduced until one player is knocked out.

The deck consists of 50 unique power cards featuring animals from around the world. On each card is a beautiful original image of an animal as well as attack, defense and an escape values and facts about the animal including its size, where it lives, what it eats and more.

I originally created it for my son, who loves animals, as a way to tap into his interest in those other, more complicated dueling card games out there . . . and to help him with his basic addition and subtraction skills.

This year, I decided to take the plunge and produce the game for sale. I've managed to get it into several store around the Tampa Bay area--check out www.NatureDomeGame.com for locations, or to buy the game directly.

Parents, teachers, home-schoolers, educational store owners, game reviewers . . . these are the grown-ups that I hope to get interested in Nature Dome--no small task.

The kids are a little easier . . . if they play Nature Dome, they love it.
