Most of Mr. Stern’s floor plans I find fascinating for the order and control which he imparts to the occupant.  Entering on a circular space reorients one in several directions allowing a variety of choices towards the next destination.  Upon arrival to that destination, one is either given the opportunity to choose a different destination or just enjoy the order and symmetry presented.  Saarinen did this in a lot of his work as well, creating visual destinations to draw one into the next space and having further foci once that area or space is reached.
