What is SEO, Search Engine Optimization?
    Search Engine Optimization or SEO is the art of optimizing both On-site and Off-Site of a web page for Search Engines’ crawlers or Spiders to be able to scan & present the most relevant content when a user search for a certain keyword or Phrase. Different search Engines have different criteria, but since Google capture about 80% of Search users & have the toughest criteria, if you match Google’s SEO criteria, you basically match most search engines in the world.

    To be able to rank as high as possible in search engines for as many keywords or phrases as possible that is relevant to your site. Search Engines use crawlers or in Google we call it Spider to crawl each and every web page to collect information & contents regarding the page. Google Spider is a program and it only performs whatever criteria Google assign to it. Imagine your website is not easily crawled by Google Spider or you lose out in rankings for certain keywords or phrases simply because you did not put the right things in the right place. When detect by Google, your site may be banned by google.
    2) Just by applying keywords in the HTML title and Meta Tags will be enough.

    3) As long as content is good, traffic and ranking will be good.
True to certain extend. But why do you want to wait if you can shorter the time to climb up the ranks. Also, you may not be targeting the right keywords and getting wrong traffic.
